@Colleen,

You can try that, but I'd recommend using rubbing alcohol. The most important thing to to let the pen soak in hot water to loosen up all of the dried ink.

Thanks for the feedback on my post, always down for helping other drawing types out there!

Thank you for the tutorial! I am still getting the hang of pen and ink drawing and noticed these pens clog and run, so I need to get in the habit of cleaning them regularly.

If I can't find the cleaning solution you mentioned, would ammonia be a good substitute?

I first wanted to thank you for this recipe but due to the fact that we were missing a couple things, we improvised and if I do say so....it came out purdy darn good.

Maybe this can help someone else:

we didn't have lemon grass (but I would get it if you can) we used fresh basil and lemon zest
we didn't have coconut milk (but would get it if you can ) we used raw whole milk and a little honey for sweetness
used butter instead of veggie oil
made the veggie both double strong (used a whole cube of bouillon instead of half per 1 cup)
then continued to add more of the same spices to taste
added carrots and onions
and for the final finishing touch....
I spooned some of the carrots and potatoes into the cuisinart and made a puree and added it back to curry to thicken it up. This added some more sweetness that we didn't get from using whole milk instead of coconut milk.

Thanks, Gonna enjoy din-din now:)
